Pat Russell began performing as a solo artist shortly after he relocated to Richmond, VA. After building a solid fan base in Central Virginia Pat formed the Pat Russell Band in the Summer of 2009. Utilizing some of the area's best talent the Pat Russell Band quickly became a popular local band opening up for national acts such as Randy Travis, Eric Church and Kristian Bush of Sugarland. Hundreds of performances later they've established themselves as one of the top live music acts in Richmond and Central Virginia. Pat has a natural ability to captivate his audience. His warm and pure singing ability combined with his "down home" personality draws you in and keeps you entertained. Pat has surrounded himself with some Central Virginia's most talented musicians. "The Foundation" which includes guitarist Tyler Carlo, bassist Mick Smith and drummer Lee Sykes have been performing together in many iterations for over ten years. Over a thousand gigs together and countless hours of rehearsal creates a symbiosis of musical prowess evident in every performance.
